It appears that Socks’ whiny demand for a theme song has come true. One Samantha the Cat has gone well above and beyond the pale and written this theme song.
To be honest, I think it captures the little scamp just perfectly.

I think Samantha has done a great job with the Socks Theme – but where is YOUR theme, Penny? Surely you deserve just as much recognition and adoration as Socks!
I was thinking it would be like the people-cartoon Sponge Bob Square pants. While the other characters are not mentioned in the theme song, they are just as important (and some are more likable).
Ah, Samantha, I see! I’m not familiar with that particular people-cartoon, but I understand where you’re coming from.
I can imagine Penny in the background of the accompanying video, looking totally exasperated and whacking Socks as he runs past her!
