SOCKINGTON.ORG Goes Live

Greetings, viewers; Penny here.

Due to overwhelming interest about Socks, this website has now been set up. I’ll be administrating this website in between mealtimes and mostly focusing on the important news, like whether everyone’s going to wise up and kick the little loafer out of my house. I mean, please, spare me. He’s got the looks and charm but inside? Zero, nada. Half the time he forgets he’s eating. It’s sad (although I do get the food he forgets). Can you imagine he started out as a street urchin? Woe to whatever Fagin was going to be his ward; he couldn’t con water into being wet. Ugh, water.

Anyway, we’ll see how this all goes. Commentary from the crowds are always invited, and please, remember that this kitty has claws, so hold off on your cynicism. We’re cats. We’re so far ahead of you on Cynic Mountain that we’re cooking fish and pitching tents up there before you even get up in the morning. Let’s keep it fun.

Way to penny the site looks awesome. You need to stop picking on sockington on his own website that is really mean, besides you know you love him anyways :P we need socks babies!!

I’ll believe you about the cooking fish thing, but cats pitching a tent? Yeah right, they’d just curl up and fall asleep full of roasted fish on the tent-in-bag.

Yay Pennycat! My cat Evey and I are big fans of you and your gray friend. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us!

I never indicated it was a particularly shapely-tent, friend. In fact, it’d probably be more like a collection of empty boxes and a blanket. But still, here first.

I always thought that Penny was the brains in the family.

Good day to you, Sockington.

Great news that you guys have a woofsite – err.. meowzone! That once-in-nine-lifetimes pic of you two must have been an interwebs meeting huh?

Forget pitching tents. Crawl under some sheets – it’s just about the same thing. Long live Penny & Sockington!

I knew you were the brains behind the whole outfit.

Wow, Sockington’s lucky. I wish one of the other cats here was bright enough to run MY website! But they aren’t so I’m stuck with my flaky, scatterbrained human as an assistant.

I enjoy your new website–do you find Sardines better than Tuna? I like the crunchy heads.

OH! and I got some plague mice because of your tweet–THANKS!

What, no shopping section? No Sockington / Penny merchandise?

:)

Fantastic website Penny! But how could it not be, run by a ginger (and white) cat?

Does Socks ever let you play with the Plague Ratsie I sent, or does my staff need to send another for you?

Purrs + headbonks,

Morris

Plague Rats aren’t my thing, sad to say. I’m more a catnip snake kind of girl. Can’t explain it. Socks is quite happy with “Nigel”, of course.

All due greatness and worship to Socks and all… But you seem so much smarter and more articulate [I mean, really, incredibly erudite compared to all the cats I've met] so how come you don’t have a twitter feed?

Though, in contemplation to this blog.. would it create some sort of twitter-war [TwitWar if you will] between you two?

Snuggles and ‘nip

Guymer =D

I think anyone who watched my television debut over the holiday week could see why: I’m the sleeper in the family. It’s about me, the pillow, and blessed, sweet dreams of turkey and catnip. I barely wake up enough to do this weblog. I appreciate the compliment, of course; I just won’t mention it to Socks, lest he hear “erudite” and think it’s some sort of snack I’m getting that he’s not. Then it’s Mr. Meow-Bag all night…

Hi Sockington- I’m the lucky human who lives with
‘Her Most Serene Highness-the Princess Mitzi Anne’
a four year old calico cat, and Lady Sarah Jane, a five year
old black pug.
We look forward to learning about your many adventures.
